Perfect fishing weather again all week.  Report of a huge walleye caught again last week!  Which lake you ask?  Good question! "GIT SOME" 
State Fishing Reports

Day County Fishing Report (week of Oct. 6 2014)

Bitter:  Anglers are having some success catching Walleye and Perch. Shore fishing has been productive for numerous anglers, as well.
Waubay:  The Walleye and Perch bite has slowed.
Reetz:  Anglers are catching a few nice Perch, Walleye and Crappie.
Lynn:  Anglers are still reporting a decent Walleye and Perch bite.
Enemy Swim:  Fishing pressure has slowed, with anglers catching a few Bluegills.
Horseshoe:  Some anglers are still fishing Horseshoe and having success catching a few Walleyes.

Ice fishing off to early start

  Our cold finish to fall has given ice fishing a jump start in the state.
  Ice shacks and pickups dot the landscape in Day County.  Frank Meyer drove from Nebraska to join. This is earlier than he usually starts ice fishing.

   By all accounts, it seems like this is one of those years that folks will talk about for a long time when it comes to fishing in South Dakota.
  Statewide reports indicate that anyone willing to wet a line is having good luck, and the lakes in Day County are no exception.
